A Spinal Surgery Table with Advanced Patient Positioning
The ProAxis® Spinal Surgery Table is the first of its kind, designed to support the biomechanical aspects of spine and imaging procedures while expanding on the key benefits of the original Spinal Table System. The table’s software-driven hinge technology allows for flexion and extension of the spine, providing direct visualization of intraoperative changes in spinal alignment. This capability facilitates controlled closure for lumbar osteotomies and spinal canal decompressions. The table’s hand pendant, called the IntelliPendant®, provides real-time information of the table’s position, clear selection of the table’s functions, and the ability to store two memory positions.
The table’s radiolucent hinge allows for anterior, posterior, lateral and oblique views intraoperatively without interference at the surgical site. The ProAxis Table easily converts from an open frame design to a supine top, allowing it to support prone, supine and lateral positioning. This versatility makes ProAxis an ideal platform for a variety of procedures including pedicle subtraction osteotomies (PSOs), spinal fusions (lateral, posterior, anterior, transforaminal), laminectomies, and lumbar total discs.
This application provides simplified table setup instructions for various procedures on the ProAxis Table. It includes visual references, standard component installation instructions, table features, procedure setup instructions, storage and components, and optional accessories for the device. Users must read and understand the ProAxis Spinal Surgery Table Owner’s Manual before using the device.
